Mary Lou Raybon Eubanks

Mrs. Mary Lou Raybon Eubanks, age 85, of Thomaston, passed away July 7, 2024, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.  Mrs. Eubanks was born in Preston, GA, daughter of the late Ernest Raybon and Rosa Pearl Carroll Raybon.  She worked at Sherri Lynn Manufacturing in Zebulon for many years.  Mrs. Eubanks enjoyed being outdoors, particularly working with her beautiful flowers.  Her five dachshunds and red bone hound brought her immense joy.  She was well known for her delicious cakes and pies, especially red velvet and pecan pie.  Her sewing skills also included a knack for sewing beautiful clothes for her girls and others.

She’ll be remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as “Maw,” but to her children, she will always be “Mama.”  Mrs. Eubanks was of the Baptist faith and attended East Thomaston Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: David Eubanks, Beverly Collier (Mike), Barbara Ellerbee all of Thomaston and Elaine Collins of Warner Robins; grandsons: Levi Collins (Delia) of Grovetown, Isaiah Collins (Angel), of Warner Robins, Joshua Hardy of Thomaston, Jesse Collier (Jessyka) of Stockbridge; great-grandchildren: Thomas Collins, Sophia Collins, Simon Collins and Sebastian Collier; special friend and loved one: Jerry Coker of Thomaston.

Her immediate family will have a private “Celebration of Life” service for her.
