Huellon Daniel “Danny” Parks

Mr. Huellon Daniel “Danny” Parks, age 48, of Jonesboro, passed away July 27, 2024.  Danny grew up in Riverdale and lived in Baltimore, Maryland for 10 years before moving back to Georgia.  He worked in the oil changing department and was a shuttle driver at Heritage Cadillac in Jonesboro.  

Danny was a talented artist who loved to draw different genres, including airbrush painting.  He always aspired to be a professional artist. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro where he enjoyed singing for the Lord.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Parks, Sr., his brother, Ray Parks, his half-brother, Oscar Parks, Jr. and his uncle, Larry Durmire.

 

He is survived by his mother:  Linda Parks; half-brother: Edward Parks; aunt: Trisha McCoy; uncle, Wilmer Parks; his beloved dog, Leo; and several other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Holt officiating.  Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

 

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
