Mrs. Kayla James Teal age 58 of Thomaston GA, died Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Teal officiating. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at Coggins Funeral Home.
Kayla was born August 18, 1965, in Upson Co. GA to the late Carl Bruce James and Janis Morris James. She graduated from Upson High School and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Kayla was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Sue Kunst, and her sisters, Melody James Kemp and Kimberly James.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Teal of Thomaston, son, David Martin of Thomaston, nephew, Steven Thompson, nieces, Jennifer Pitts and Jeanice Kemp, and three grandchildren, Jadyn, Colton, and Remington Martin.
