Mrs. Evelyn Duncan Barfield, 96, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, February
27th, 2019 at the Dublinair Nursing Home in Dublin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barfield will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019
at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home.  Burial will
follow in South View Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Barfield will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral

MRS. DORIS VIRGINIA MARSHALL MONTGOMERY

Mrs. Doris Virginia Marshall Montgomery age 85 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday February 23, 2019 at her residence. 
Mrs. Montgomery was born on July 20, 1933 in Pike County, to the late John Henry Marshall and the late Ella Lou Trice Marshall. She was formerly employed with the Upson County School System where she worked as a lunch room attendant until her retirement. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Eugene Montgomery, daughter Patty Montgomery, brothers Donald Hugh Marshall, Leldon Marshall, sisters Pauline Allen, Beatrice Partain, Lois Stewart, Ruby Vanhouten.
Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Pam (Ken) English of Thomaston Ga, sister in law Mrs. Marie Marshall of Meansville Ga, grandchildren Tonya Adams, John Dowdy, Mandy (Brandon) Jones, Kevin (Lindsey) English, Chris English, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Monday February 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

MRS. BOBBIE NELL ADAMS

Mrs. Bobbie Nell Adams, age 75, of Thomaston, died Monday, February 18, 2019, at the Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Adams was born November 26, 1943, in Upson County to the late Paul and Cleon Daniel Gordy. She worked for Thomaston Mills and was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Crumbley of Thomaston, Sheila Colbert of Alabama, and Marsha (Keith) McCard of Thomaston; brother, Bruce (Janice) Gordy of Thomaston; sister, Bonnie Sue McMullan; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Janie Lois Brodnax, age 86, of Thomaston, died Friday, February 15, 2019, at Emory University Hospital in Decatur.
Janie was born October 3, 1932 in White County, GA to the late Willis Palmer and Susie London and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brodnax is preceded in death by her husband Carlton S. Brodnax, brothers, Loy Palmer, Jimmy Palmer, Robert Palmer, and Marvin Palmer, sister, Cora Pruitt.
Survivors include son Joel (Heather) Brodnax of Thomaston, sister, Nell Palmer of Cleveland, GA., grand children, Reeve Thomas Brodnax, Justin Elliott Brodnax, Brittany Faith O'Callaghan, and Ireland Aliese Stubbs.
Funeral services will be Sunday February 17, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Southview Cemetary.  Family will receive friends Sunday February 17, 2019 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM at Coggins Funeral Home.

MRS. STEPHANIE JANANN ABERNATHY

Mrs. Stephanie Janann Abernathy, age 46, of Thomaston, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Thomaston.
Mrs. Abernathy was born February 15, 1973, in Atlanta to Donald R. Harper and Diane S. Bloodworth. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Riverside Health.
She is survived by her sons, Evan Tyler (Destiny Holcomb) Abernathy of Rome, and Cayden Reed (Megan) Abernathy - US Army Italy; mother, Diane S. Bloodworth; father, Donald R. Harper; brother, Donald Aubrey Harper of Rome; grandchildren, Kahner Abernathy and Hylynn Abernathy.

February 14, 2019, at his residence. 
Funeral Services  for Mr. Perdue will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019,
at 3:00 PM, in the Chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Derek
Lovelady officiating. Interment will follow in the South View Cemetery. The

MR. BRIAN RAMSEY GLASS

Mr. Brian Ramsey Glass age 63 of Senoia Ga, died Thursday February 14, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday February 16, 2019 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Glass was born October 2, 1955 in Spaulding Co., GA to the late Frank and Martha Ann Ramsey Glass and was of the baptist faith. Mr. Glass lived a number of years in Upson County before moving to Senoia, GA in 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Glass of Senoia, daughter, Kasey McWaters and her husband Eric of Zebulon, son, Nathan Glass and his wife Kimberly of Concord, grandchildren, Alexis McWaters, Anzleigh McWaters, Wyatt Glass and Rhett Glass.

Mrs. Barbara Ann Fowler Dotson age 86 of Powder Springs Ga, died Monday February 11, 2019  at Woodstock Nursing and Rehab in Woodstock Ga.
Mrs. Dotson was born on November 25, 1932 in New Holland Ga, to the late Paul Fowler and the late Ruth Burtz Fowler.
Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Beverly (Mike) Cottle of Powder Springs Ga, Mrs. Rebecca (Gary) Hale of Woodstock Ga, sons Mr. Richard Dotson of McDonough Ga, Mr. David (Nicky) Dotson of Ky, brothers Mr. Billy (Mildred) Fowler of Thomaston Ga. Mr. Jimmy (Sandra) Fowler of Rome Ga, sister Mrs. Carolyn Lattrell of Az, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Vaughn was born December 15, 1956 in Spaulding Co., GA to the late Felton A. Childres and Marie A. Robinson Moran.
Mrs. Vaughn worked in the medical field before becoming disabled. She was of the baptist faith and will always be remembered for the love she gave to her family, children, grandchildren and her beloved cat Tam-Tam.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shelby Jean and a brother, Lamar Childres.
Survivors include her sons, Brian Childres and his wife Jennifer of Appling, GA and Robbie Vaughn and his wife Jessica of Griffin, brothers, Paul Childres and his wife April of Oneida, TN and Michael Childres and his wife Trisha of WI, grandchildren, Breanna Childres, Trey Vaughn, Shelby Childres, Skyler Vaughn, Bryson Childres, Spencer Childres and Baylee Childres, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Tam-Tam.

Mr. Ray Crews, 72 of Thomaston died February 3, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Crews was born May 5, 1946 in Thomaston to the late Royal Edward and Inez O'Neal Crews. Mr. Crews was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church, worked for Wm. Carter Co. and served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patricia Taylor Moss and his brothers, Ed Crews and Joe Crews.
Survivors include his daughters, Christy Crews of Nashville, TN and Raylynn Crews of Thomaston, sister, Donna Wheeless of Thomaston and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Myrtice Thelma Hendricks Clark 89 of Thomaston died January 31, 2019 at Riverside Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Clark was born on May 3, 1929 in Talbot County GA, to the late Roy Owens Bassett and the late Katie Bell Jones Bassett. She was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark was formerly employed with The William Carter Company where she worked for 25 years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands Johnnie Hendricks, James Clark and son Wayne Hendricks.
Survivors include her grandson Mr. Josh (Shelley) Hendricks of Thomaston GA, 1 sister, Lois Johnson of South Carolina, great grandchildren Evan Wayne Hendricks & Elizabeth Ann Hendricks.
