MR. JEFFREY RANDALL JOHNSON

Mr. Jeffrey Randall Johnson, age 42, of Meansville Ga, died Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Johnson was born January 31, 1977, in Thomaston to Rachel Jordan Kasseck and Randy Clyde Johnson. He was an Electrical Utility worker for Lineco.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson; daughters, Jasmine Alexis Johnson, Katelyn Marie Johnson, Harley Elizabeth Johnson, and Libby Faye Johnson, all of Thomaston; mother, Rachel Kasseck; father, Randy Johnson; sisters, Pamela Jordana Johnson, and Amanda Diane Johnson both of Thomaston; and grandmother, Mrs. Nell Jordan.
Memorial services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Phyllis Gordy Gilbert, age 95, of Thomaston, died Saturday, July 27,
2019, at Riverside Health and Rehab.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Gilbert were held on Monday, July 29,
2019, at 2:00 PM, in the Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill
Barber officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist

MRS. BETTY GANN JARRELL

Mrs. Betty Gann Jarrell age 81 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday July 27, 2019 at Upson Regional Medical Center. 
Mrs. Jarrell was born on May 20, 1938 to the late Harrison Gann. She was formerly employed with the EPA where she worked as a book keeper for many years. Mrs. Jarrell was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Mr. Jack Jarrell of Thomaston Ga, daughters Mrs. Debora (Donny) Womble of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Penny (Ken) Sorrells of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Celia (Tom) Callahan of Orlando Fl, son Mr. Grant Crow of Atlanta Ga, brother Mr. Charles (Ruth) Gann of Rome Ga, sister Mrs. Mildred (Delton) Harne of Cedartown Ga, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cindy Sue Parker McDaniel age 64 of Thomaston, GA died Thursday July 25, 2019 at The Heritage Inn in Barnesville GA.
Funeral services will be Saturday July 27, 2019 11:00 AM in The Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Mrs. McDaniel was born February 19, 1955 in Thomaston, GA to the late Edward W. and Rose Helms Parker.
She was a bank teller with United Bank and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Edward McDaniel of Thomaston, daughters, Katie North and her husband Benjamin of LA and Laurie Liberto and her husband Christopher of Thomaston, brother, Lindy Parker and his wife Wanda of Thomaston, sister, Mary Ann Parker of Thomaston and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday July 26, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM At Coggins Funeral Home.

Ms. Linda Cochran Collins age 78 of Thomaston Ga, died Friday July 12, 2019 at her residence.
Ms. Collins was born on May 21, 1941 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Dock Marvin Cochran and the late Ollie Bunn Cochran. She worked for Bank of Upson as a Teller for many years. Ms. Collins was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Kenneth & Tim Cochran, and sister Sandra Stubbs.
Survivors include her daughters Kayla Collins of Thomaston Ga, Dana Collins of Thomaston Ga, brother Ben (Beverly) Cochran of Thomaston Ga, grandchildren Caleb Collins, Savannah Spillers, Waylin Wright.

MR. DOUGLAS HARVEY ROSBOROUGH

Mr. Douglas Harvey Rosborough age 65 of Thomaston Ga, died Thursday July 11, 2019 at Upson Regional Medical Center. 
Mr. Rosborough was born on January 20, 1954 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Warren Rosborough and the late Nellie Ruth Shumate. He worked for the Motor Carrier Compliance Division of the Georgia Department of Public Safety for many years. Mr. Rosborough was a member of Holy Ground Worship Center. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Parker.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Dianne Rosborough of Thomaston Ga, sons Mr. Chad (Terrie) Rosborough of Meansville Ga, Mr. Boone (Renae) Rosborough of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Heath Rosborough of Carrollton Ga, brothers Mr. William (Sandra) Smith of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Jerry (Janet) Smith of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Roger (Nancy) Smith of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Robert (Geraldine) Smith of Charleston S.C., sister Mrs. Joann Hayne of Jackson Tn, 8 grandchildren.

Mr. William Billy Scott

Mr. William "Billy " Scott, age 71, of Thomaston, died Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Scott was born October 11, 1947, Upson County, to the late William Alwin Scott and Florence Purifoy Scott.  He received the Purple Heart serving his country in the US Marine Corp during Vietnam.  He retired from Georgia Department of Transportation after 14 years.
Survivors include, his son, Jake Scott (Rachel Rector), daughter, Robyn Watson (Albert Solarino), sisters, Becky McWaters, Marsha (Jesse) Coogler, and Rosalind White, grandchildren, Tom Solarino and Kate Solarino.  He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Steve McWaters.
Graveside services for Mr. Billy Scott will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Southview Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pauline Roberts Kitchens, age 88, of Thomaston, died Monday, July 8, 2019, at the Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Kitchens was born June 10,1931, in Spalding County, to the late Glenn Roberts and Gertrude Amerson Roberts.  She worked as a loan officer at AVCO Finance and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. 
Survivors include, her husband, Roy Howard Kitchens, sons, Keith (Susan) Kitchens, Tommy (Susan) Johnson, grandchildren, Ashley Kitchens, Stephen (Valerie) Kitchens, Kelly Joyner (Donnie Brown), Traci Johnson, and Thomas Johnson, great-grandchildren, Olivia Kitchens, Addison Kitchens, Kerstyn Joyner, Kaitlyn Joyner, Alexis Joyner, and Baylee Adams, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Howell.

Mrs. Sandra J. Grier, age 70, of Thomaston, died Friday, July 5, 2019, at her residence on Andrews Chapel Rd. in Thomaston.
Mrs. Grier, was born June 27, 1949, in Lamar County to the late, David Cagel and Pansy Blackmon Cagel. She was a retired Bus Driver for the Upson County School System.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Cannon. Survivors are her husband, Rev. James Grier; daughters, Jenny Messer, Doris Kolluru, and Nikki Yu; sister, Mary Horne; grandchildren, Alex Ellington, Austin Ellington, and Brittany Messer; great-grandchildren, Bodhi Kolluru and Charolette Pitts. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Spillers; and brothers, Buddy Cagle, Earl Cagle, and Hollis "Monk" Cagle.
Funeral services for Mrs. Grier will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Sara Frances Wheeler

Mrs. Sara "Frances" Wheeler, age 72, of Thomaston GA, died Sunday, June 30, 2019, at the Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Wheeler was born August 7, 1946, in Upson County to the late, Edward Allison Weems and Lucile M. McCard Weems. She was a Nurse for Dr. Williams and of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Wheeler; daughter, Allison (Chris) Parker Raulerson; son, Anthony Wheeler; sister, Carolyn Holley; grandchildren, Whitney (Josh) Wheeler Akins, Katelyn Emily Raulerson, and Ansley Rose Wheeler; and a soon to arrive great-grandchild.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Mr. Joel Arthur Sandefur

Mr. Joel Arthur Sandefur, age 37, of Zebulon, passed away July 2, 2019, at his home.  He grew up in Zebulon and worked as an electrician.  He enjoyed drag racing and working on cars with his father. 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents J. B. and Betty Sandefur, Arthur and Margaret Collins, his godfather and uncle Dave Collins, his cousin Chad Collins, his aunt Linda Fallin and his cousin Cassie Collins.
He is survived by his parents: Jimmy and Linda Sandefur of Zebulon; brother and sister-in-law: Darren and Angie Sandefur of Zebulon; sister and brother-in-law: Lisa and Paul Rivera of Zebulon; nieces and nephews: Carlie Sandefur, Adrianna Sandefur, Jacob Rivera and Sean Rivera; aunts and uncles: Kathy and Mike Collins of NY, Donna Collins of NY, Patricia and Jimmy Salter of Thomaston and Joanne Moultron of Florida; cousins: Rodney and Maria Salter of Thomaston, Chuck Hutto of Williamson, and Greta Barber of NY.

Mrs. Carolyn Teague White, age 76, of Zebulon, passed away June 30, 2019, at Brightmoor Hospice. She was born in San Angelo, TX, daughter of the late John Edd Teague and Jessie Rowland Teague. Carolyn was a nurse at Griffin OBGYN for 20 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She loved flowers and enjoyed watching her hummingbirds.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years: David White; children and their spouses: Tracy and Terry Jones of Kissimmee, FL, Bubba and Laurie White of Zebulon and Kim and Don Cato of Molena; grandchildren: Olivia White, Noah Gower, Eli White, Shelby Jones, Skylar Cato, Kayley Jones, Jason White, Ian White and Hayden Cato; sister: Susan Scott of Locust Grove; many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Mrs. Anna Bell Delli-Gatti age 89 of Thomaston Ga died Sunday June 30, 2019 at her residence. 
Mrs. Delli-Gatti was born on February 15, 1930 in West Virginia to the late Clarence Howard Phillips. She worked as a Nurses Aide at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston S.C., for many years. Mrs. Delli-Gatti was a member of St. Peter The Rock Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Lisa (Rick) Jacobs of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Laura (Brinan) Siscel of Thomaston Ga, sons Dr. Kevin (Marilyn) Delli-Gatti of Thomaston Ga, Mr. John (Kelly) Delli-Gatti Jr. of Thomaston Ga, Mr. David (Jana) Delli-Gatti of Charleston S.C., 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
