Sara Elizabeth “Beth” Williams Kasulaitis

Mrs. Sara Elizabeth “Beth” Williams Kasulaitis, age 66, of Thomaston, passed away January 3, 2024, at her home.  Beth grew up in Griffin and graduated from Griffin High School in 1975. She was in the hospitality business for most of her life, first as a floral designer for her family’s business, Whatley’s Flower Shop, and then as a caterer for her own company, Custom Catering by Eleven Acres.  Beth was a rescuer of both animals and people. She had a servant’s heart and was always eager to help others. Beth was a liver transplant recipient and worked tirelessly as a volunteer for Georgia Transplant Foundation in Atlanta. She attended Auburn University majoring in theater.  Her theatrical and feisty spirit will be missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth “Bubber” Williams and Sara Frances Whatley.

 

She is survived by her husband of 40+ years: Al Kasulaitis, Jr.; children: Katie Kasulaitis and John Kasulaitis (Kayla).  

 

She was known as Lolli to her two grandchildren: Carlee Cheree and Riley Jean Kasulaitis.

 

She was also survived by many special cousins and friends who she dearly loved.

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral home.

 

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
