Mr. Pasley was born in Thomaston on August 7, 1952, to the late Alvah Pasley and the late Ruby Kent Pasley.  He was a 1970 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute.  David and Linda Ellerbee were married on November 23, 1972, in Thomaston.  David served in the GA National Guard. He owned Piggie Park Drive-In and really enjoyed serving his community.  He retired several years ago and passed the business on to his son, but he was still a daily fixture in the restaurant until his death.  For many years David loved to fish, spending a lot of time in Panacea, FL, and he enjoyed making his own fishing lures.  Coaching little league sports through the Thomaston-Upson Recreation Department was his passion.  He enjoyed his grandchildren and loved watching them play sports and celebrating their accomplishments. Survivors include his wife, Linda Ellerbee Pasley; his daughter, Alicia (Glen) Ross of Watkinsville, GA; his son, Joel (Becca) Pasley of Thomaston, GA; five grandchildren: Thomas Ross and Maggie Ross both of Watkinsville, GA, Annie Grace Pasley and Bo Pasley both of Thomaston, GA, and Trent (Haley) Knight of Yatesville, GA; his brother, Mike Pasley, of Thomaston, GA; and  three sisters-in-law: Andrea (Adrian) Travis, Brenda (Tommy) Allen, and Bonnie (Terry) Elliott.  Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
