SMSGT (Ret) Ernest Coleman Wilson age 74 of Thomaston Ga, died Wednesday January 29, 2020 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
SMSGT (Ret) Wilson was born November 5, 1945, in Thomaston, GA.to the late Jeff Coleman Wilson and the late Sarah Frances Holt Wilson. He retired from the U.S. Air Force with 26 years of service. He served in Vietnam, some of his military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Suse Garcia Wilson. He is survived by his son, Ernest Wilson II of Gulf Port, MS., daughter, Chrisinda Wilson (Ronny) Alspaugh of Gulf Port, MS., sister, Sara Wilson (Jimmy) Harrell of Thomaston, GA., grandchildren, Bobby Nieto, Rheno Nieto, Natahni Alspaugh, Dakkota Alspaugh, Keaoni Alspaugh, and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for SMSGT (Ret) Wilson will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
