Mrs. Huckaby was born on May 11, 1943, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Marion Beeland and the late Lucy Mobley Beeland. She retired as a retail store manager and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Mark Huckaby, brother, Pal and Jack Beeland, sisters, Betty Birdsong, Virginia Bloodworth, and Linda Faye Beeland.
Survivors include her husband, James Franklin Huckaby of Thomaston, daughters, Dinah (Alan) Whitmire of Thomaston, Connie (Mike) Wade of Thomaston, son, Phillip (Michelle) Huckaby of Thomaston, brother, William David (Joyce) Beeland of Thomaston, daughter-in-law, Maria Huckaby of Thomaston, ten grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from Mountain View Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist. Coggins Funeral Home
