Mrs. Ford was born on April 29, 1945, in Fulton County, Georgia, to the late Albert Stokes Isbell and Odessa Corley Isbell. She worked at Bank of Upson for twenty-five years as the Vice President and then worked at First Peoples Bank where she retired as vice president. She was a member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Charles Ford, son Mark Smith, brothers, Alvin Isbell, Raymond Beckham, and sister, Frances Dixon.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Jeff) Kennedy of Thomaston, grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) Kellett, Nicholas (Hannah) Kennedy, Madison (Campbell) Singleton, and great-grandchildren, Knox Lee Kennedy, Caroline James Kennedy, Kennedy Estelle Singleton, and Hallie Ray Singleton.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
