Mrs. Vivian Clyde Swails, age 69, of Thomaston Ga., passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Swails was born on October 2, 1952, in Clayton County, to the late W.C. Bentley and the late Josephine Gann Bentley. She retired as a CNA and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Susan Moore and Cathy Bentley.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Jessie) Wright of Thomaston, Mandy Mickler of Thomaston, brothers, William Joel Bentley of Thomaston, Bill Bentley of Athens, Dennis (Renee) Bentley of Covington, sisters, Frankie Pearson of Cumming, Billie Ann Bentley of Athens, Tonya Bentley of Athens, grandchildren, Zachary (Kristen) Morgan, Haley (Devin) Marsh, Stormy (Caleb) Phillips, Alexander Wilburn, Alexis Wilburn, Heaven Wilburn, Austin (Paige) Hall, Gabe Thomason, Zoe Thomason, great-grandchildren, Gracie, Elli-Mae, Hadlie, Lyric, Aaliyah, Cooper, Caleb, Alisa, and Sean.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m at Coggins Funeral Home.
