Mr. Joseph "Joe" Watts Gordy, 88, of Thomaston, died Friday, October 15,
2021, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Gordywill be held Monday, October 18, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day
Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Valley Grove Baptist Church
Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 until
6:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mr. Gordy was retired from Upson
County where he was Superintendent of the Water Department. Those desiring
may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry
Street, Macon, GA 31201
