Obit for Nell Jordan

Mrs. Nell Jordan age 87 of Thomaston Ga., passed away Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Jordan was born on July 19, 1934 in Upson County, to the late Bill Savage and Daisy Rodgers Savage. She retired from the William Carter Company and was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lucius R. Jordan, son, Vernon Jordan, sister, Louise Singletary, and grandson Jeff Johnson.
Survivors include her daughters, Rachel Kassick of Thomaston, Larie (Ken) Whatley of Thomaston, Sharon (Hank) Phillips of Hayesville, NC., sons, David (Damaris) Jordan of Williamson, Marty Jordan of Thomaston, Joe (Michell) Jordan of Thomaston, step-son, Buddy Jordan, grandchildren, Pam Johnson, Brain Baker, Brett Baker, Pruitt Wilder, Kevin Wilder, Brent Martin, Brian Martin, Andrew McDaniel, Taylor Stroud, Mandy VanHouten, Candy Hudson, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.
