Mrs. Mary Virginia Chambers Graves, age 96, of Thomaston, died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Riverside Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Graves was born on January 16, 1925 in Thomaston Ga., to the late Walter Willis and the late Estelle Bell Willis. She was a homemaker and a member of Vega Community Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Fred Chambers, second husband Harry Graves, daughter Patricia Ann Dean, sons Carl Eugene Chambers, Fred Chambers Jr., brother Jake Willis, sister Betty Teal.
Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Sue (Jimmy) Whitten of Meansville Ga., sons Mr. Larry (Brenda) Chambers of Thomaston Ga., Mr. James Chambers of Meansville Ga., 14 grandchildren, 20 + great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday September 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from Vega Community Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vega Community Church on Sunday September 12, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The family request that mask be worn and social distance be observed.
