Mrs. Mary Jane Smith Harness, age 80, of Thomaston, Georgia died Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Harness was born on May 20, 1941 in Coffee County, Alabama, to the late Wesley Smith, and the late Myrtle Danford Gray. She was the owner of Thomaston Ford and of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny William Harness, her brother, Donald Smith and sister, Linda Caraway.
Survivors include her daughter, Nicole "Nikki" (Marty) Berman of Orlando, Florida, sons, David Edwards of Lake Wales, Florida, and Keith (Karen) Edwards of Lake Wales, Florida, sister, Ann (Earl) Drawdy of Groveland, Florida, grandchildren, Lynn, Kandi, Brandon, Justin, Dylan, Grant, Scarlett, and great-grandchild, Oakley "Shorty".
Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, Florida is handling funeral arrangements.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from Lake Wales Cemetery in Lake Wales, Florida.
