Mrs. Mary Sue Higgs Bailey age 86 of Thomaston Ga, died Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Westbury Center of McDonough for Nursing and Healing.
Mrs. Bailey was born on March 22, 1935 in Upson County, to the late Charles Franklin Higgs, and the late Elvie Alline Deloach Higgs. She was a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Malvin Bailey.
Survivors include her sons, Michael "Bill" (Emily) Bailey of Hampton, Ronald Bailey of Biloxi, MS, Kerry (Karen) Bailey of Edgewater, MD, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from Mountain View Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church.
