Mr. Albert "Cal" Harris, age 71, of Thomaston, died Saturday August 14, 2021 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Harris was born on September 10, 1949 in Thomaston, to the late William Charles Harris and the late Thelma Jewel Knight Harris. He worked at Standard Textile as a Supervisor, and was a member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Cal served his country in the US Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kay Welch Harris, brother, Phillip Harris.
Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Padovani of Hampton, Melanie Harris of Thomaston, brother, Randall (Sandy) Harris of Barnesville, grandchildren, Calli (Justin) Raybon, Abrym Martin, Kymbl Fulcher, Tatum Padovani, Autumn Padovani, Brynli Martin, and great-grandchild, Alijah Puckett.
Private graveside services will be held for the family.
Mr. Harris will lie in state on Friday August 20, 2021 at Coggins Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m..
