Mrs. Brenda Kay Harris age 68 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Tuesday December 15, 2020 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Harris was born on December 23, 1951, in Upson County, Georgia, to the late James Etheridge Welch and the late Willie Lou Harbuck Welch. She retired from Upson Regional Medical Center as a Medical Transcriptionist with 44 years of service, and was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James, Donald and Warren Welch, sisters, Mary Lou Gibbs and Martha Jean Metcalf.
Survivors include her husband, Cal Harris, daughters, Michelle Padovani of Hampton, Melanie Harris of Thomaston, brother, Gordon (Audrey) Welch of Thomaston, sister, Irma (Harry) Jennings of Tallahassee, Florida, grandchildren, Calli Fulcher, Kymbl Fulcher, Autumn Padovani, Brynli Martin, Abrym Martin, Tatum Padovani, and great-grandchild, Alijah Puckett.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
