Mr. Larry Gene Blount, age 75, of Thomaston, died on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Blount was born on December 14, 1945, in Thomaston, to the late James Carlton Blount, and the late Grace Lee Lawrence Blount. He served is country in the U.S. Marine Corp in Vietnam, and was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Collene Hood, and Marie Daniel.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Blount, daughter, Lisa (Scott) Ryals of Molena, son, Ray Blount of Thomaston, brothers, Kenneth (Carolyn) Blount of Thomaston, Adrain Blount, sisters, Kay (Ronnie) Waddell of Thomaston, Rhonda (Keith) Ogletree of Gray, Wanda (Gregg) Sanders of Meansville, grandchildren, Leslie (Josh) Hockman, Jessica Ryals, Hunter Blount, great-grandchild, Wyatt Hockman.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
