Mrs.Winifred Voncile Salter Fowler age 82 of Thomaston Ga, died Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Fowler was born on October 7, 1934 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Edmond and Dolly Harris Salter. She worked as a beautician for many years. Mrs. Fowler was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and the Order of The Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her grandson Jonathan McCarty and sister Pauline Salter Rogers.
Survivors include her husband Mr. Jack Fowler of Thomaston Ga, daughter Mrs. Donna Howard of Thomaston Ga, sons Mr. Ralph (Becky) Ellington of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Eddie (Nancy Lowery) Fowler of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Carol Salter Bradshaw of Thomaston Ga, grandchildren Misty Conway, Jamie Samples, Josh Ellington, Drew Fowler, Jamie Gibson, Lilly Lowery, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Bethel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Thursday February 16, 2017 from 5-7 p.m.
