Mrs. Ruby Scott Weems age 87 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday February 11, 2017 at Providence Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Weems was born on February 9, 1930 in Dale County Alabama to the late John W. Scott and Thelma Tomlin Scott. She was formerly employed with B.F. Goodrich Mills where she worked as a spinner for 35 years until her retirement. Mrs. Weems was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Patricia (Alvin) Coe of Woodbury Ga, son Mr. Steve (Joan) Weems of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Helen (Herbert) Salter of Thomaston Ga, grandchildren Jason (Laura) Weems, Josh (Kristin) Weems, Melynda Coe, Sherry (Jeremiah) Childree.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Monday February 13, 2017 from 5-7 p.m.
