Ms. McElhenney was born on September 19, 1978 in Thomaston Ga, to Billy and Sonia Ellis McElhenney. She was employed with Dr. Busbee where she worked as a medical assistant. Ms. McElhenney was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents Mr. Billy (Sonia) McElhenney of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Heather (Brian) Lovejoy of Thomaston Ga, grandmother Mrs. Martha Ellis, nephew Austin Lovejoy, niece Autumn Lovejoy, aunt Mrs. Sandra (Jimmy) Fender of Thomaston Ga, uncles Mr. Larry (Dixie) Smith of Canton Ga, Mr. Tony (Stacey) McElhenney of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Larry (Brenda) McElhenney of Vermont, great aunt Mrs. Peggy Morgan of Thomaston Ga.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Wednesday May 27, 2015 from 6-8 p.m.
