Mr Alvin Terry Hooks

Mr. Alvin Terry Hooks age 67 of Woodland Ga, died Thursday May 21, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Hooks was born on September 30, 1947 in Eastman Ga, to the late James and Lillian Hooks. He worked as a welder for many years. Mr. Hooks was a shriner. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for 3 years. Mr. Hooks was preceded in death by his brother Michael Rueben Hooks.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Martha Hooks of Woodland Ga, daughter Mrs. Faith Wright of Fredrick Md, brothers Mr. Thomas Furgerson of Midland Ga, Mr. Andy Furgerson of Columbus Ga, sister Mrs. Deborah Howard of Columbus Ga. 11 Grandchildren. 1 Great Grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday May 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday May 30, 2015 from 5-7 p.m.
