MRS. MARIE HILL

Mrs. Marie Hill, age 72, of Butler GA, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020, at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon Ga.

Mrs. Hill was born August 16, 1948, in Taylor County, to the late Ennis and Lena Blair Childree. She retired as a PraPro for Taylor County Schools and was a member of Christian Heritage Worship Center in Oglethorpe GA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herman Hill. Survivors are her sons, Rodney (Nichole) Hill and Kelly Hill both of Butler; sister, Vernell (Cecil) Green of Reynolds; brothers, Robert (Laree) Childree of California, James (Susie) Childree of Melbourne FL, and Wilbur Childree of Macon; grandchildren, Chad Hill and Savannah Hill; and great-grandchild, Jackson Hunter Hill.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hill will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 4:00 PM at MT. Olive Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Potterville GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at graveside in Potterville.

Mrs. Hill will lie in state at Coggins Funeral Home from Tuesday, September 8, 2020, 1:00 PM until Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Country Garden Assisted Living Center, 19 Hillcrest Circle, Butler GA 31006.
