Mr. Clinton Doil Burkett, age 80, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Burkett was born September 29, 1939, in Thomaston to the late O.E. Burkett and Florie Kennedy Burkett. He retired from Wm. Carter Company and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Burkett; sister, Nina Pfannkuche; and brothers, Ernest Burkett and Amos Burkett. Survivors are his daughter, Caorlyn (terry) Burkett of Thomaston; and grandchildren, Jeremy Watson and Amani Watson.
Graveside services for Mr. Burkett will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2020, from 11:00 - 1:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church.
