Mr. Grady Franklin “Frank” Jarrell, age 79, of Zebulon, passed away December 9, 2019. Frank was born in Thomaston, son of the late Charlie Jarrell and Allie Cobb Jarrell. He was the youngest of 11 children. He worked for Thomaston Mills and Martha Mills for a total of 20 years. After retiring, he worked as a guard at Jackson Diagnostic Center for 13 years. Frank was a member of Good Shepherd Church of God in Barnesville. He liked to watch sporting events on TV, his favorites were wrestling and the Georgia Bulldogs. Frank enjoyed yardwork, fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Herline Ayers Jarrell, and eight brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son: Greg Jarrell of Thomaston; daughters: Vickie and Jeff James of Lawrenceburg, IN, Terry Lee Foster and (Kevin Kierstine) of Panama City, FL; grandchildren: Brandy and Jeff Lusk, and Phillip Jarrell; great-grandchildren: Taylor Lee Ann Harris and Jackson Lusk; brother: Jack Jarrell of Thomaston; sister: Daisy Gentry of Thomaston; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 13, 3:30 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Hemphill officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the funeral Home.
