MRS. ELIZABETH ALLENE HUCKABY

Mrs. Elizabeth Allene Huckaby, age 81, of  Meansville Ga, died Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Huckaby was born July 10, 1937, in Pike County to the late William Henry and Mary Ward Mann. She retired from Sherri-Lynn Mills as a seamstress, and was a member of Vega Community Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Grady Huckaby. Survivors are her daughter, Karen (Terry) Adams of Meansville; son, Ken (Teresa) Huckaby of Meansville; sisters, Sarah (Jim) Buffington of Griffin, Mary Etta James of Meansville, and Gladys (Dennis) Dawson of Meansville; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Huckaby will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at 4:00 PM at Vega Community Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. at Coggins Funeral Home.
