Mr. Irving Lewis Proctor age 89 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday November 19, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Proctor was born on November 10, 1927 in Millen Ga, to the late Gus and Myrtle Proctor. He worked for Martha Mills and Watson Motors for many years. Mr. Proctor served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughters Denise (Charles) Sanford of Thomaston Ga, Donna Proctor of Thomaston Ga, son Irving Glenn (Fran) Proctor of Lawrenceville Ga, brother Cecil (Fay) Proctor of Millen Ga, grandchildren Mandi Hadley, Casey McWaters, Jessica Willis, Tracy Meiler, 7 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Monday November 21, 2016 from 5-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local VFW at 300 Veterans Dr. Thomaston Ga. 30286.
