Mrs. Evelyn Cobb Cromer, age 83, of Thomaston, died Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Cromer was born November 30, 1932, in Thomaston to the late Fredrick Dewey and Lillie Brazelton Cobb. She was a graduate of Young Harris College and retired as a Nurse from St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cromer. Survivors are her daughter, Alice Yarbrough of Zebulon; son Dewey Yarbrough of Zebulon; sister, Doris Pfannkuche of Thomaston; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cromer will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Coggins Funeral Home with burial to follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, from 2:30 - 4:00 pm at Coggins Funeral Home.
