Mrs. James was born on March 4, 1940 in Porterdale Ga, to the late Willie Perry Morris and the late Paulene Wages Morris. She worked as a Supervisor of the Engineer Department with the William Carter Company for many years. Mrs. James was a member of the Thomaston Kingdom Hall of Jehova's Witnesses. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Carl Bruce James, daughters Kimberly James & Melody James Kemp. Mrs. James is also preceded in death by several siblings.
Survivors include her daughter Kayla (Randy) Teal of Thomaston Ga, brother Ray (Betty) Morris of Thomaston Ga, sisters Pamela Russell of Virginia, Debbie (Dan) Sanders of California, grandchildren Steven Thompson, Jennifer Pitts, David Martin, Janice (Cody) Smith, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday June 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Sunday June 23, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
