Robert “Bob” Dale Wall

Mr. Robert “Bob” Dale Wall, age 67, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024, in the home of his eldest son surrounded by his loving wife, three children, and his faithful dog Rooster.  Bob, formally of Norcross, GA, was born in Red Bud, IL, son of the late Ardell Wall and Susie Hooten Wall.  In addition to his parents, Bob is also proceeded in death by his sister, Joyce Katherine of Prairie du Rocher, IL.  His battle with a serious medical condition in recent months showed his courage in facing life challenges with dignity and grace.  Despite the circumstance, Bob stood a pillar of strength until the end.

Bob put himself through school, studying hard and working as a maintenance man. He earned his master’s electrician license, passing with such ease that they had to change the test after he took the exam.  Bob was the owner of a HVAC business for some time and ended his career working in HVAC for Complete Heating and Air in Austell, GA.

 

Bob had a passion for Harley Davidson, fast cars, boats and everything that comes with it.  He shared these passions with the love of his life Miki, whom he met in Chester, IL in 1981.  The two were inseparable from that point on and married in South Padre, TX on October 31st, 1984. together for 42 years and married 39, they raised 3 amazing kids followed by 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

 

Bob is survived by his wife Miki Wall; three children, Duncan Ray Burton (Jennifer) of Molena, Dennis Wayne Burton (Lorie) of Douglasville, and Susan Rochele Wall (Kael) of Clayton; as well as his five grandchildren Ciera, Michelle, Mackenzie, Riley, and Jackson; and one great grandchild Rhea.  Bob is also survived by his beloved dogs, Rooster, Moochie, Luna, and Lola.  

 

Bob will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his huge smile, his over the top, full of life personality and his own special brand of humor (if you know, you know).   In the hearts of those who loved him, he will always be there.  Forever remembered, Forever missed. There are no goodbyes … just hold it down for the rest of us until we meet again.

 

The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayer and comfort during this difficult time.  We are eternally grateful for all of you.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, 3 p.m., at Meansville Baptist Church, 12620 GA 109, Meansville. There will be time of visitation for family and friends after the service at the church.
