Mrs. Marshall was born September 24, 1948, in Upson County to the late, William S. and Martha Thompson Gibson. She worked for Thomaston Mills, Carters, Ritz Cafe, and TV10 Gospel Tracks, and was a faithful member of Mountain view Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Gibson; husband, James David Marshall; sister, Kathy Neeley; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Wine. Survivors are her sons, Tim Gordy and Chase (Susan) Marshall; sister, Willene Melder; sisters-in-law, Barbara Smith and Helen (Ricky) Anderson; brother, Chuck (Mary) Gibson; brother-in-law, Johnny (Darlene) Marshall; and grandson, Logan Gordy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Baptist Church. Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Griffin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Mountain View Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church, 2569 Jeff Davis Rd, Thomaston GA 30286.
