Mr. Richard Napoleon Dennis, age 73, died Friday June 5, 2020, at Rivertowne Care and Rehab Center in Columbus, GA.
Mr. Dennis was born on February 18, 1947 in Underhill, VT, to the late Napoleon Richard Dennis and Hilda Mae Warner Dennis. He worked for Trucks Incorporated. Co. as a truck driver. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retired after 28 years as a Master Sargent. He is preceded in death by his father, wife Gloria Jones Dennis, brother, Frederick G. Dennis.
Survivors include his mother, Hilda Mae Dennis, sons, Richard Dennis of Thomaston, Wayne Dennis of Thomaston, Joe (Andrea) Dennis of Thomaston, brother, Robert J. Dennis of New York, sisters, Sarah Dennis of Vermont, Rose M. Dennis (Harold) of New York, Susan (Peter) Piper of Chicago, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Dennis will held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from Upson Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Coggins Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
