MR. DAVID PHILLIP THOMPSON, 74

Mr. David Phillip Thompson, age 74, of Meansville Ga, died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at his residence. 

Mr. Thompson was born on July 17, 1943 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Robert Phillip Thompson and the late Mae Thompson. He was formerly employed with Upson Regional Medical Center where he worked as a Phlebotomist for ten years. Mr. Thompson was of the baptist faith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Priscilla Fortner Thompson, brother Kenneth Thompson. Mr. Thompson served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his daughters Mrs. Wanda (Craig) Sanders of Meansville Ga, Mrs. Melinda (Todd) Mewbourn of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Cheri (Wayne) Nix of Meansville Ga. 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Southview Cemetery on Tuesday June 5, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
