Mrs. Nunley was born April 25, 1943, in Thomaston to the late Roger Lawson and Hattie Frances Blount Sr. She was a bus monitor for Houston county and member of the Fort Lawn Church of God Fort Lawn S.C.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Rodney) Bogue of Warner Robbins Ga; son, Curt (Dana) McAlum of Lancaster S.C.; sisters, Betty Hilton of Thomaston, Dorothy (Alfred) Shepard of Warner Robbins, Catherine Matthews of Thomaston, and Brenda (LR) Brock of The Rock; brothers, Roger Lawson Blount Jr of Macon, Sammy (Voncille) Blount of Thomaston, and Danny Blount of Thomaston; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nunley will be held on Wednesday, april 11, 2018, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.
