Mr. Jones was born July 4, 1959, in Upson County to the late Charles Edward and Mary Estelle Jones. He was an Electrician and member of Thomaston First Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his nephews, Keline (Anna) Jones, and Lee Roy Jones; nieces, Stella Wolf, and Barbie Stevens; brothers, Cecil Jones, and Gerald (Mildred) Jones; and several great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Glen Jones.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 27, 2018, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis TN. 38148-0142, or www.stjude.org/donate.
