Mrs. Bedford was born on June 24, 1948 Taylor County Ga, to the late Lonnie Ross Parker and the late Margaret Smith Parker. She was formerly employed with the Thomaston Upson Family and Children Services where she worked as the director for many years. Mrs. Bedford was a member of Horeb Baptist Church in Junction City Ga, and also a member of the Butler Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband Mr. Gary Bedford of Junction City Ga, daughter Mrs. Lori Beth (David) Reeves of Thomaston Ga, sons Mr. Paul (Deann) Bedford of Meansville Ga, Mr. Ross (Marlee) Bedford of Blackshear Ga, brothers Mr. David (Mary Ann) Parker of Canton Ga, Mr. Keith (Heather) Parker of Aiken S.C., brother in law Mr. Marshall (Linda) Bedford of Jonesboro Ga, sister Mrs. Rita (Steve) Moore of Midwest City Ok, grandchildren Bickley Reeves, J. Thomas Reeves, Amris Bedford, Alary Bedford.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Horeb Baptist Church, 1398 Old Wire Rd, Hwy 208, Junction City Ga 31812. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday March 3, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. - 3: 00 p.m. at Mr. & Mrs. Bedford's residence at 9651 Old Wire Rd. Hwy 208, Junction City Ga. 31812.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis Tn. 38105.
