Mrs. Eva Victoria "Vicky" Harris Nelson, age 67, of Thomaston, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Nelson was born on July 24, 1949 in Butler Ga, to the late Randall Underwood Harris and the late Judy Oliver Harris. She was formerly employed with Proctor and Gamble where she worked as an electrician. Mrs. Nelson was a member of Sylvia Hills Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Paul Nelson.
Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Sandra Nelson (John) Crook of Thomaston Ga, Ms. Laura Nelson of Thomaston Ga, son Mr. Floyd (April) Nelson of Thomaston Ga, step sons Mr. Glenn (Teresa) Nelson of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Darren Nelson of Thomaston Ga, brothers Mr. Randy (Becky) Harris of Griffin Ga, Mr. Billy (Robbie) Harris of Talbotton Ga, 20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday March 19, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday March 18, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shepard Care Hospice at 1501 B. Kalamazoo Rd. Griffin Ga. 30224.
