Mr. George Albert "Buddy" Gassett age 76 of Thomaston Ga, died Saturday March 11, 2017 at Harborview Nursing Home.
Mr. Gassett was born on July 8, 1940 in Thomaston Ga, to the late George Gassett and the late Elsie Rogers Gassett. He was formerly employed with Martha Mills where he worked as a spinner for many years. Mr. Gassett was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ruth Ann Gassett of Thomaston Ga, sons Mr. Tommy (Helen) Gassett of Zebulon Ga, Mr. Todd (Mary) Gassett of West Virginia, Mr. Tandy (Crystal) Gassett of Thomaston Ga, brothers Mr. Tony (Jean) Gassett of Meansville Ga, Mr. Don (Theresa) Gassett of Thomaston Ga, sisters Mrs. Lavelle (Warren) Killingsworth of Meansville Ga, Ms. Margaret Raybon of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Juanita (Lamar) Wheeless of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Martha Jo Heaton of Thomaston Ga, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Tuesday March 14, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
