Mrs. Mary Benton Fox, age 95, of Thomaston, died on Friday June 26, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Mary Benton Fox, age 95, of Thomaston, died on Friday June 26, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Fox was born on January 11, 1920 in Portsmouth VA, to the late Lydon and Hilda Bernard Benton. She is a retired Dietary worker for Coronado Hospital in California, and was of the Baptist Faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Fox; granddaughter, Kimberly Wilson, sister, Annie Mae Boomhower, and niece, Patricia Boomhower. Survivors are her daughters, Mary Ann Roughton, Carolyn Ussery, and Linda Booth all of Thomaston; sons, Hilton Roughton of Woodstock GA, and Ray (Ginny) Fox of NC; grandchildren, Preston Wilson, Scott Wilson, and David Wayne Roughton.

Private memorial services for Mrs. Fox will be held by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
