Mrs. Hamby was born on October 23, 1957, to the late Leonard Leon Hamby, and the late, Evelyn Daniel Hamby. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Chris Thigpen of Thomaston, Randy (Michelle) Thigpen of Thomaston, brother, Kenny Hamby Sr. of Zebulon, grandchildren, Gage (Marci) Thigpen, Sean Thigpen, Brianna Crawford, Erica Stevens, Dylan (Becca) Smith, great-grandchildren, Avery Kate Thigpen, Keegan Crawford, Keely Crawford, Weston Smith, and Chayton Smith.
Graveside memorial services will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville. The family will receive friends following the service.
