Mrs. Scruggs was born on January 19, 1954 in Upson County, to the late Robert L. Watson and the late Rebecca McDaniel Scruggs. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Tommy Lee Watson.
Survivors include her daughter, Mindy Darlene (David) Thompson of Thomaston, son, Nathan Eugene Scruggs, Toby (Jill) Herndon of Griffin, sister, Brenda Fallin of Thomaston, nephew, Scotty Lamar (Michelle) Fallin and several other nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
