MR. WALTER FREEMAN ALSOBROOKS JR.

Mr. Walter Freeman Alsobrooks Jr., of Peachtree City, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Alsobrooks was born August 23, 1933, in Thomaston to the late Walter Feerman Alsobrooks Sr and Lonie Daniel Alsobrooks. He retired from Delta with over 30 years of service, worked with Georgia Tech in maintence prior to Delta, Korean War U.S. Navy Veteran, and Mason (Lodge #288 Eastpoint).

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Ruffin Alsobrooks; sisters, Margie Brodnax, Catherine Majors, Marion Long, and Bessie Harp. Survivors are his numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Alsobrooks will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Committal an burial will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 2:00 PM in Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 22, 2019, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Coggins Funeral Home.
