MRS. CAROLE JUNE THOMPSON HUDSON WEST

Mrs. Carole June Thompson Hudson West, 79, of Thomaston died July 31, 2019 at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be Saturday August 3, 2019 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethany Church Cemetery.

Mrs. West was born February 18, 1940 in Eufaula, AL to the late Johnny Thompson and Carolyn Black Patty. She was  a 1958 graduate of Yatesville High School where she was a cheerleader and played on the basketball team. She was a member of Peoples Independent Baptist Church. Mrs. West worked as a secretary for Malcolm Johnson CPA Firm and taught in various Christian schools in Marietta, Savannah and Decatur.

Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Buel West of Thomaston, daughters, Kim Elizabeth Jannakos and her husband Ted of Flowery Branch, GA and Deborah Evelyn Beagle of Buford, son, Carl Dean Hudson, III of  Oklahoma City, OK, mother-in-law, Loraine Hudson, Oklahoma City, OK, brothers, Sid Thompson and his wife Joanne of Avondale Estates and Tommy Thompson of Thomaston, sister, Shelia Conley and her husband George of Warm Springs, five grandchildren, Alyssa Jannakos, Andrew Jannakos, Alex Coppedge, Abigale Coppedge and Johns Beagle, one great grandchild, Mack Anthony Forte, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Coggins Funeral Home.
