Mrs. Barfoot was born on October 5, 1923 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Warren A. Jimmerson and the late Cora Peugh Jimmerson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Barfoot was a member of The Baptist Tabernacle. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband George M. Barfoot, brother Peugh Jimmerson, sisters Louciele McGouirk, Gladys Jimmerson, Maire Jimmerson, Salley Ellington.
Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Brenda Birdsong of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Sandra (Anthony) Trice of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Peggy (Hulett) Smith of Jesup Ga, son Mr. Sonny (Leigh) Barfoot of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Johnnie Yarbrough of Thomaston Ga, 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Thursday January 11, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
