Mrs. Shirley Jean Lowe, age 73, of Thomaston, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Providence Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Lowe was born on June 13, 1942, in Upson County to the late Pearl Downs Self. She was a Nursing Assistant at Providence Health and Rehabilitation Center, member of Mud Bridge Baptist Church, and an avid Braves Fan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Lowe Sr; and son, Billy E. Lowe Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Brandy Lowe of Thomaston; son, Barry (Angela) Lowe of Thomaston; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Lowe will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 3:00 pm in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 8, 2016 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at Coggins Funeral Home.
