Mrs. Joan Clara Black Daniel, age 61, of Thomaston, died Monday October 12, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Daniel was born on July 17, 1954 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Marshal and Ruby Dunn Black. She worked as a Tax Consultant for Mid Ga Tax for many years. Mrs. Daniel was a member of the Thomaston First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband George W. Daniel of Thomaston Ga, daughter Cheri Anne Hummel of Denver Co, son Christopher M. Daniel of Smyrna Ga, brothers Tom Black, Richard Black, James "Billy" Black, sisters Cheri (Vince) Johnson of Thomaston Ga, Bette (Gene) McCormick of Salem Al, grandchildren Daniel Hummel, Ruby Hummel nieces Beth, Jill & Brooke.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Zions Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Friday October 16, 2015 from 5-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia 6065 Roswell Road, Suite 715 Atlanta, GA 30328.
Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements!!!!!!!!!!!!
