Mr. James Theodore "Ted" McKissick age 84 of Thomaston Ga, died Monday November 14, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. McKissick was born on February 11, 1938, in Walton County, Georgia, to the late James A. McKissick and the late Marguerite Glass McKissick. He retired from the U.S. Navy and worked as a salesman for Liberty National Insurance. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Haugland McKissick of Thomaston, daughter, Kim (Bill) Stubbs of Thomaston, sons, Mark (Sherry) McKissick of Thomaston, Tim (Cathy) McKissick of Thomaston, sister, Elaine (David) Dingler of Thomaston, six grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
