Barbara Jean Wills Hutcheson, age 82, of Griffin, Ga., passed away on Sunday, October 30th, 2022. A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Moody-Daniel Funeral Home, 10170 US HWY 19, Zebulon, Georgia 30295. The visitation will begin at 11 a.m. with the service to follow at noon. The family will receive guests thereafter to continue the celebration with light refreshments.
Barbara was born January 9th, 1940, to the late Andrew and Helen Wills in Newton, Georgia. She was baptized at the First Presbyterian Church of Griffin, Georgia.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Captain Theodore L. Hutcheson, Jr. and is survived by her children; Danni Lynn Banks (Alan), Captain Daniel Ovaert (Lynda), Patricia Buchanan (Russell), Captain Theodore L. Hutcheson, III (Elizabeth) and grandchildren; Kristin and Trevor Banks, Tesha Sevier, Jaesan Buchanan, Alex and Dru Hutcheson; and six great-grandchildren.
Barbara was also preceded in death by her siblings; Joan White, Andrew Wills, Jr. and Douglas Wills.
Barbara will be greatly missed by many, especially Captain Samuel Gore, with whom she spent her final years, traveling and enjoying life.
