Mrs. Dianne Eubanks Wainwright, age 61, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, January 3, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wainwright will be held Saturday, January 7, at 11:00 AM, at East Thomaston Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Smith and Rev. Johnny Brazelton officiating. Interment will follow the service in South View Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Wainwright will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mrs. Wainwright was born November 17, 1961, in Thomaston, a daughter of the late Thomas R. Eubanks, Sr. and the late Nell Hayes Eubanks. She received her Master's in Education and was a teacher for the Thomaston-Upson County Board of Education. She also taught school in Barnesville and Westwood School, later Skipstone Academy. She lived her life as a constant servant and she will be remembered by all who knew her as a selfless person. Mrs. Wainwright was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church.
Mrs. Wainwright is survived by her husband, Steve Wainwright of Thomaston; her daughter, Kirksley (Drew) Elliston of LaGrange; her step-daughter, Leigh (Sonny) Barfoot of Thomaston; her step-son, Rob (Lynne) Wainwright of Alabama; her brothers, Tommy (Neena) Eubanks of Concord, and David (Sheri) Eubanks of Molena; her five grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren.
